10th Red Cross Partnership Meeting

On 16.12.2019 the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia organized the 10th Partnership Meeting in hotel Marriott, Skopje. The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, PhD. Sait Saiti, the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Ms. Mila Carovska, representatives of institutions and the corporate sector. The partnership meeting was organized with the aim of promoting the Red Cross humanitarian values ​​to foster strategic partnerships for the implementation of mutually beneficial social projects.

The meeting was opened by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, who emphasized the fruitful cooperation with the Red Cross and the willingness to continue jointly in providing services for the most vulnerable and the elderly.

At the event, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, in recognition of accomplishment of the humanitarian goals and objectives, gratefully acknowledged the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the City of Skopje, the Macedonian Radio Television, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in North Macedonia. Macedonia. It also awarded the “Silver supporter” acknowledgments for the company OKTA AD Skopje and “Bronze supporter” to the Foundation for Development of Education and Culture Albiz.

The theme of the panel session at this year’s Partnership Meeting was “Through social responsibility to joint investments in communities”. Speakers on this topic were PhD. Sait Saiti, Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Nikola Naumovski, Head of the Cabinet of the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Ms. Jasmina Bucevska, Director of Marketing Department of Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje and Ms. Aneta Andonova, Editor-in-Chief of MRTV’s First Programme Service.

Ms. Jasmina Kuzmanovska, Head of the Red Cross Programme Sector of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, presented an e-catalog of project initiatives prepared by the Red Cross branches and the City Red Cross of Skopje in order to encourage interest for joint initiatives and establishing strategic partnerships in certain areas of mutual interest.

The discussion of the participants at the partnership meeting emphasized the satisfaction with the current cooperation with the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, and the interest for new cooperation, as well as the strengthening of the current cooperation in support of joint initiatives in the forthcoming period.
