“Building capacities for communication and coordination for effective preparedness and response in the Western Balkans”
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies organized a workshop within the framework of the project “Capacity Building for Communication and Coordination for Effective Preparedness and Response in the Western Balkans”, in the period of 10-12.09.2019 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the ICRC / JP, Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, Red Cross of BiH, Croatian Red Cross, Albanian Red Cross, Red Cross of Montenegro and Red Cross of Serbia.
The purpose of the workshop was to exchange practices and experiences of national societies in the region with an emphasis on the tasks that each national society should individually implement within the project activities.
The representatives of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia had the opportunity to present the web-based communication platform “Next Generation Incident Management / Command System” and the establishment of the new operational center of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia.
