Center for the homeless

The homeless center this year opened the doors of the people to whom it was and still needs them most. It is equipped with 40 beds and is supported by the City of Skopje. In addition to its regular operation on Tuesday and Friday, the  center for the homeless  in December and January worked 24 hours and in it homeless people and people in need used the services of the homeless center.

During the month of December and January, 44 homeless people slept in  44 days, 16 of which were new. The total number of overnight stays is 595 for this period.

In order to successfully complete the work, 16 volunteers and part of the professional service were engaged. The Red Cross is still active in mitigating the effects of cold weather
