Today, the second transfer of funds for supporting the victims in Kochani has been made

As of today, a total of 112,595,482.00 denars have been raised within the appeal of the Red Cross of RNM for the victims of the fire in Kochani. So far, the Red Cross of RNM has made an initial transfer of funds to the families of all the deceased and injured individuals who are receiving treatment abroad and in the country. Today, the second transfer has been made to support the affected families from the tragic accident in Kochani. A total of 60,850,000.00 denars have been disbursed from the donated funds through both transfers.

In cooperation with domestic professional institutions, as well as the relevant ministries and the government, which are addressing the issues related to the assessment of damage in such situations, efforts are being made to find an approach that will be applied in the future distribution of funds raised by the Red Cross. This will ensure real support at the right time for medical treatment and coping with the consequences of the disaster, and we will inform you about this in due course.

The Red Cross, together with our partners, continues to provide psychosocial and other support to the affected population.
