For the second consecutive day, the Red Cross is conducting activities in support of those affected by the fire in Kochani. The Red Cross continues its humanitarian aid efforts for the affected citizens and their families, offering psychological support, first aid, transportation, and material assistance provided by 120 staff and volunteers.

Intensive communication with relevant institutions is taking place to monitor the situation and assess the needs for humanitarian response.

At the Red Cross points in front of the hospitals in Skopje, Shtip, and Kochani, citizens can be provided with additional information regarding accommodation, refreshments, food, first aid, and psychological support.

Citizens can receive psychological first aid by calling the numbers: 071/338-081 in Kochani, 074/203-030 in Shtip, and 072/271-048 in Skopje.

The Red Cross expresses deep gratitude to all those who have donated so far and are part of this humanitarian operation to support the affected population. A total of 6,484,916.00 denars has been raised so far. For all future donations, we kindly ask you to follow our appeal in order to efficiently address the identified needs.

For assistance and support for hospitalized individuals in countries in the region, in cooperation with our partner Red Cross and red Crescent national societies:

• For persons in the hospitals in the Republic of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Red Cross will provide transportation, accommodation, psychosocial support, and other types of assistance for the family members of the injured persons.
  Information about the assistance can be obtained by contacting the Bulgarian Red Cross at (+359) 02 492 30 40 and the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia at (+389) 71 341 985. Information about the hospitalized persons can be obtained by calling the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria at (+359) 02 805 03 00.
• For persons in the hospitals in the Republic of Serbia, the Red Cross of Serbia will provide support for the family members of the injured persons from the fire in Kochani who are hospitalized in the Republic of Serbia. Information about assistance can be obtained by contacting the Red Cross of Serbia at (+381) 62 880 15 18 and the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia at (+389) 71 341 985.
• For persons in the hospitals in the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian Red Cross will provide support for the family members of the injured persons from the fire in Kochani who are hospitalized in the Republic of Croatia. Information about assistance can be obtained by contacting the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia at (+389) 71 341 985.
