PhD. Sait Saiti participated in the International Conference on institutional and clinical aspects and solutions following the Kochani fire

The Secretary General of the Red Cross of RNM, PhD Sait Saiti, participated in the International Conference on the institutional and clinical aspects and solutions following the Kochani fire, where he was part of a panel discussion titled “From Experience to Solutions: The Role of the Community, Institutions, and Lessons Learned.”

During the panel, participants discussed the experiences and challenges faced by institutions and health services in dealing with the consequences of the fire, as well as the need for better coordination and preparedness in crisis situations. In his address, PhD Saiti emphasized the importance of cooperation between institutions, healthcare professionals, and the local community, as well as the role of humanitarian organizations in providing timely support to the affected population.

He highlighted that our greatest responsibility today is to transform tragic experiences into lessons learned and concrete improvements. Through sharing knowledge, cooperation, and joint commitment, we can build more resilient communities and systems that will be ready to respond when help is most needed.

Above all, however, we must continue to nurture humanity and solidarity—the values that lie at the heart of the Red Cross mission. Because it is precisely these values that remind us that even in the most difficult moments, the greatest strength of a society is its care for people.
