State first aid competition

On September 21, 2024, in Gjorce Petrov-Skopje, a State first aid competition will be held, hosted by the local branch of Red Cross Karposh. The ceremonial opening of the event will take place on the stage in the central part of the Gjorce Petrov Park starting at 11:00 am. The competition will be attended by 12 teams from 12 local Red Cross branches that won the first 6 places in the regional competitions that took place in the month of May.

As part of its activities, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia is actively working to raise awareness about the importance of first aid, providing training and services for various target groups in order to improve the safety and overall health of people. We advocate for continuous improvement of the quality of first aid programs, tailored to the needs of different target groups such as preschool children, students in primary and secondary schools, motor vehicle driver candidates, persons responsible for safety and health at the workplace, persons with special needs, etc. The Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia makes a significant contribution to the promotion of first aid in educational institutions, where we teach and enhance the competencies of young people from an early age on how to provide first aid correctly.
