Group Support for helpers and employees in the Red Cross through expressive art therapy
A group support session for helpers and employees was held at the premises of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, using art-expressive therapy, with a total of 4 participants.
The participants showed interest in creating a space for the practical application of various techniques. During the session, they shared positive experiences from previous exercises, which they independently apply when coping with everyday challenges. As part of the session, exercises involving synchronized breathing and movement were carried out to reduce physical tension, followed by drawing activities using an art-expressive technique as a method for creative expression and emotional release.
These meetings bring significant benefits to employees and volunteers by providing psychological support and encouraging personal development. At the same time, they contribute to improving communication and teamwork, strengthen the ability to cope with stress, and offer practical tools for maintaining a balance between professional and personal responsibilities.
