Red Cross jubilee recognitions for the mayors of Kavadarci and Rosoman

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, a ceremonial event dedicated to humanity, solidarity, and social responsibility was held in Kavadarci on June 3, 2025.

The event served as an opportunity to honor all those who have selflessly supported the mission of the Red Cross over the years. Among them, the mayors of Kavadarci and Rosoman — Mitko Janchev and Stojan Nikolov — were awarded jubilee recognitions for their contributions and ongoing cooperation with this humanitarian organization.

The ceremony was opened by PhD Sait Saiti, Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, who emphasized the key role of the local governments in the development and support of humanitarian activities. He particularly highlighted the successful cooperation with the municipalities of Kavadarci and Rosoman, which stands as an example of active and responsible community participation.

The event was enriched by the presence of volunteers, institutional representatives, and citizens, who once again affirmed the importance of unity and solidarity in building a better society.
