Minister of Health Azir Aliu visits the Red Cross of RNM

On June 24, 2025, Minister of Health Azir Aliu paid an official visit to the headquarters of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, where he was warmly welcomed by the Secretary General, Sait Saiti.

During the meeting, current and future aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the Red Cross were discussed, with particular emphasis on strengthening the partnership in the field of public health, advancing preventive health programs, improving emergency response mechanisms, and supporting vulnerable population groups.

On the occasion of a significant anniversary of the organization, Secretary General Sait Saiti presented an anniversary plaque to the Ministry of Health as a token of appreciation for the continued institutional support and successful cooperation. The award was gratefully accepted by Minister Aliu, who highlighted the importance of synergy between institutional and humanitarian capacities in enhancing the country’s healthcare system.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing cooperation through joint projects and activities aimed at protecting and promoting public health and the well-being of citizens.
