Visit of Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski to the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia
On July 10, 2025, the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, visited the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the organization’s founding.
The conversation focused on the role of the Red Cross in promoting humanity and solidarity, as well as the presentation of the audit report regarding the inflows and outflows from the Solidarity Fund account, for the period from March 16, 2025, to July 9, 2025, which relate to the incident that occurred at the “Pulse” nightclub in Kochani on March 16, 2025.
Special emphasis was placed on the recent humanitarian response following the fire that affected Kochani and its surroundings. Prime Minister Mickoski expressed gratitude for the work of all those involved in these activities, as well as support for further strengthening the capacities for humanitarian response and enhancing cooperation between institutions and the Red Cross.
As a token of appreciation for his support and promotion of humanitarian values, Secretary General Sait Saiti presented the Prime Minister of RNM, Hristijan Mickoski, with a medal of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia — a symbol of gratitude for his commitment to supporting the organization’s humanitarian mission.
The Prime Minister, Mr. Hristijan Mickoski, also officially became a member of the Red Cross today, signing the membership form and paying the annual fee, thereby fulfilling all requirements for active membership.
