CONDUCTED BRANCH ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT WITH RED CROSS BRANCH OHRID

In the period of 02.24-25.2024, a Branch Organizational Capacity Assessment (BOCA) was conducted with the Ohrid Red Cross Branch. Through a participatory method, where first the the branch organization forms a complementary local team consisting of staff, members of the governing structure and volunteers of the organization, through a set of tools, including a matrix with defined indicators, case studies for the development of RCB, BOCA game for the development of a branch organization and other additional exercises led by trained BOCA facilitators, an approach is prepared that suits that branch organization with all its characteristics and specifics. With the help of this instrument developed by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, RCB Ohrid in a structured way was self-assessed in 34 organizational areas of operation, to determine the level of development in the context of these areas, to determin development priorities for the next year and to prepare a plan with development activities of the RC branch.
