Field activities of the mobile teams for coping with heat waves

In the period of August 12 to 16, 2024 forty people (volunteers and staff), divided into 15 teams consisting of a doctor or paramedic, with 5 Red Cross vehicles, patrolled around the city of Skopje, at larger bus stops, markets and health facilities.

3,000 bottles of water were distributed and 42 interventions were carried out to support citizens who didn’t feel well.

The activities were supported by the State Lottery.
