170 Small PHV Projects

Excellent results this year again in the PHV program – a program for recruiting and retaining volunteers within the Red Cross. A total of 1,200 young people aged 13 to 17, guided by 40 disseminators from 33 local Red Cross branches and mentored by 10 mentors, carried out an INCREDIBLE 170 small projects for the benefit of the community.

They received training, formed small teams, assessed needs, and implemented activities such as sports competitions, cycling races, fundraising events, and theater performances. Through these, they raised funds to carry out projects aimed at helping people at risk, as well as ecological and intercultural projects.

Dedicated young people, positive role models, drivers of change in our community. Youth who stepped out of their comfort zone and showed they have the capacity to make our world a better place to live.

This weekend, the PHV instructors’ team is heading to a preparatory workshop where the small projects will be evaluated, recognized, and appreciated!
