“Summer Camp of the Operational Forces of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia – Saraj 2026”

On June 5, 2026, in Saraj, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia organized the “Summer Camp of the Operational Forces of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia – Saraj 2026,” an event dedicated to enhancing preparedness and strengthening capacities for response in emergency and crisis situations.

The camp brought together members of the Red Cross operational forces from different parts of the country. Through practical exercises, simulations, teamwork, and exchange of experiences, participants further developed their knowledge and skills for effectively addressing challenges in crisis and emergency situations.

The opening ceremony featured addresses by the Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, Sait Saiti, and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Astrit Iseni, who emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation and the continuous strengthening of disaster and emergency response capacities.

Representatives of the Crisis Management Center, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, local self-government authorities, and the Red Cross actively participated in the camp, demonstrating a high level of coordination and joint field operations.
