Participation in the Regular Regional RFL RIC Annual Meeting of the Tracing Service

The Regional Meeting of the Tracing Service was held from April 27 to 30, 2026, at the “Home of Solidarity” in Sutomore, Montenegro, organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross from Belgrade, in cooperation with the Red Cross of Montenegro.

The event was attended by representatives from the national societies of North Macedonia, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, and Albania, as well as representatives from the ICRC Regional Office in Belgrade.

During the meeting, current activities and challenges were reviewed, along with the results of the regional evaluation. Participants focused on strengthening cross-border cooperation, particularly in supporting migrants, preventing family separation, and restoring family links.

Additionally, measures were discussed to improve response capacities in crisis situations, as well as the protection of personal data. The main outcome of the meeting is the preparation of a joint Action Plan until 2029, within the Strategy for Restoring Family Links 2025–2030.
