Seminar on International Humanitarian Law and its application in defense, security, and crisis management

On November 27, 2025, at the “Dr. Joseph Kruzel” Training Center in the “Goce Delchev” Barracks – Skopje, a seminar named “International Humanitarian Law and its application in defense, security, and crisis management” was held. The seminar aimed to familiarize participants with the basic rules, principles, and practical application of IHL in defense, security, and crisis management.

The seminar was attended by representatives from various institutions: the Ministry of Defense, the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, the Crisis Management Center, and the Red Cross of North Macedonia.

At the event, a representative from the Red Cross of North Macedonia conducted a session dedicated to humanitarian activities and the application of IHL.

The seminar contributed to enhancing intersectoral cooperation and experience exchange, strengthening the preparedness of institutions for the effective application of IHL in various situations related to defense, security, and crisis management.
