Workshop for Peer Blood-Donation Motivators in Albanian Language

The Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, from November 28 to 30, organized a workshop for peer motivators in Albanian language at the Solferino Training Center in Struga, with the participation of 18 representatives from 8 Red Cross Branches.

At the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to become familiar with blood donation as an activity, as well as to gain knowledge and skills for spreading information about blood donation, with the aim of motivating future young blood donors in their communities.

The Institute for Transfusion Medicine took an active part in the workshop. As part of the workshop, in order to practically apply the acquired knowledge, a simulated blood-donation action was organized, which was attended by 22 donors, of whom 9 successfully donated blood.
