As part of the Unified Financial System project, supported by the Development Fund of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia held a workshop on the aspects of financial operations and the implementation of Pantheon – a business information system. The workshop took place from July 14–16, 2025, in Solferino, Struga.
The purpose of the workshop was to present the progress made in implementing Pantheon in the local Red Cross organizations and to address the challenges encountered during the implementation process.
A total of 39 representatives from 29 local Red Cross organizations participated in the workshop, including secretaries and individuals responsible for implementing the software. The workshop was moderated by representatives from the Finance and Audit Department of the Red Cross of North Macedonia, who are responsible for the implementation of Pantheon and support the local organizations in accounting and financial operations.
The workshop aimed to present an analysis of financial data from the Pantheon database and to support the local organizations in accurately entering financial data into the system, aligning accounts, salaries, incoming and outgoing invoices, and cash operations.
Various financial report formats and overviews generated in Pantheon were presented at the workshop, which the local organizations will be able to use in their ongoing operations.
Representatives of the local organizations were informed about the next steps and plans for the software rollout, which include further training and technical support for implementing the system.
To ensure ongoing support for the Unified Financial System (EFSR) software and its application in daily operations, representatives of the local organizations were informed that they will continue to receive full support from the company Datalab and the expert team of the Red Cross of North Macedonia.
