National Youth Camp “100% Red Cross”

From 17 to 23 July 2026, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia organized the National Youth Camp “100% Red Cross” at Camp site “Scout” in Struga. The camp was organized in order to strengthen the capacities of the leadership structures of the Youth Clubs within the organization.

 

The camp brought together 54 young participants from 28 Red Cross branch organizations and the City Red Cross of Skopje. Through interactive workshops, practical exercises, and team-building activities, participants enhanced their leadership, organizational, and communication skills, while also expanding their knowledge of the organization’s structure and operations.

 

The camp was officially opened by the President of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, Dr. Liljana Ristevska, who emphasized the importance of investing in young leaders. The closing ceremony was attended by the Secretary General, PhD Sait Saiti, who addressed the participants and attended the presentations of the action plans developed during the camp.

 

The programme covered a wide range of topics, including leadership, volunteering, blood donation, mental health, volunteer recruitment and motivation, promotion of youth activities, and local youth work. Particular emphasis was placed on teamwork, networking, and the exchange of experiences among young leaders.

 

The National Youth Camp “100% Red Cross” represents an important investment in the development of youth leadership and volunteerism, contributing to the creation of a motivated, skilled, and well-connected youth network within the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia.
