Representatives of the Red Cross of RNM participated in Risk and Scenario Analysis Training in Sarajevo
From 9 to 11 June 2026, representatives of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia participated in a three-day Risk and Scenario Analysis Training in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The training was organized by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) with the support of the Swiss Red Cross.
The training focused on strengthening capacities for identifying and analyzing risks, developing scenarios for potential crisis situations, and improving preparedness for humanitarian response. Through practical exercises and group work, participants engaged in risk assessment, response planning, and the identification of factors that may influence humanitarian needs.
The knowledge and tools acquired during the training will contribute to the further enhancement of the operational planning and preparedness of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, enabling timely and effective action in various crisis situations. The workshop also reaffirmed the importance of regional cooperation and the exchange of experiences among national societies in the Western Balkans.
