The Head Office of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia would like to invite all interested persons to apply for the following open position:
Desk officer for finance and administrative work
Location: Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia
Address: Blvd. Kocho Racin 13, Skopje
Required qualifications:
- Work experience: Minimum 2 years in the same or similar position. Experience with finance management and administration of long-term projects financed by foreign donors is preferable
- Education: Completed higher education (VII/1) in the appropriate area – economy, finance, accounting and auditing
- Digital skills: Competence with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, mail applications, communication platforms: Microsoft Teams, Zoom. Candidates who are familiar with Pantheon will be given an advantage.

Job description:
- Management of financial bookkeeping and all matters in the area of material and financial operations;
- Account assignment and accounting of overall financial changes;
- Assisting in performance of tasks in the area of material and financial operations;
- Cash withdrawals for: payment orders, cash receipts, small purchases of consumables and fuel for official vehicles;
- Completion of financial documents and their liquidation;
- Preparation of outgoing invoices;
- Keeping records of incoming and outgoing invoices;
- Reconciliation of records in warehouses and material bookkeeping;
- Making a cash report and registering all financial changes;
- Preparation of travel invoices for business trips;
- Preparation of orders and invoices for payment of contributions and other legal fees;
- Preparation of payrolls and calculation of salaries for staff in the RCRNM HQ.
Additional information:
Working hours for this position 40 hours a week, FROM Monday to Friday. The work is to be conducted in the Red Cross of RNM premises.
