An online meeting was held today at the request of the Prime Minister Mr. Zoran Zaev, which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia – the Red Cross of the City of Skopje and the Fire Brigade.

The Red Cross was represented by Aleksandra Ristovski who briefed on the formation of mobile teams and the overall activity at the level of the entire National Society.  Slobodan Mitrovic briefed on the distribution of oncological, methadone and chronic therapy and Sandra Tomovska presented the work of mobile teams in support of migrants and irregular migrants on the north and south border.

The prime Minister expressed gratitude on his behalf and on behalf of the Government of RNM, for the entire system that the Red Cross had developed, which includes more than 500 volunteers and over 150 staff on daily basis.

Aleksandra Ristovski thanked him on behalf of the entire organization and thanked all other stakeholders in the overall mechanism with an emphasis on health professionals.

We continue together because only in this way will we defeat our common enemy – the COVID-19 virus.
