International Twinning Conference

In the period from 25 to 28 September, a representative from the City Red Cross of Skopje and a member of the Governing Board of the Macedonian Red Cross, participated at the International Twinning Conference held in Minsk, Belarus. Participants were more than 80 representatives from the National Red Cross branches and organizations that implement Twinning projects, Norwegian Red Cross representatives and representatives of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. In the working part of the conference, most of the Twinning projects were presented, the development policies for the future were discussed, the lessons learned were shared, and bilateral meetings as well as work in groups were realized in order to promote and promote the activity so far.

At the conference, the activities carried out in the framework of the Twinning Project were presented, which the City Red Cross of of Skopje realized with the Red Cross Telemark-Norway. This conference was an excellent opportunity for exchange of information and experiences with many countries and National Societies, in the direction of improving our work as well as cooperation in this field with our associates and friends from the Red Cross Telemark.
