Saiti, met with the A.M of the Municipality of Kocani

On 23rd of April 2025, the Secretary General of the Red Cross of RNM, PhD Sait Saiti, met with the Acting Mayor of the Municipality of Kocani, Venko Krstevski. At the meeting, the Secretary General informed about the activities undertaken by the Red Cross to assist the affected population in the fire in Kocani, for which all mechanisms for humanitarian support were put into operation from the very beginning by offering first psychological support, first aid and material assistance. The Mayor was also informed about the funds raised from the Red Cross appeal for assistance to the affected population.

At the meeting, the Secretary General emphasized that the Red Cross remains committed in the upcoming period to monitor the development of the situation resulting from the fire in Kocani and providing continuous adequate support to the population of Kocani.

At the meeting, the Mayor expressed sincere gratitude for the dedication and assistance provided by the Red Cross.
