Assistance in equipment for schools in flooded region

Macedonian Red Cross for the floods that have hit Skopje and Tetovo region on August 6, 2016, implemented a number of humanitarian activities for support of the vulnerable population and rapid recovery of the communities. Despite  first aid interventions, through encouraging the public and partner organizations there have been conducted a number of actions for clearing, cash donations, donations of food and hygiene products, clothings, education of the population on disaster management, actions to strengthen community capacities etc.

With the support of the German Red Cross there has been provided assistance in equipment such as computer, LCD projector and projection screens for 6 elementary schools in the flooded region.

The donation will be awarded on 20.03.2017 (Monday) at 11:00 am at the Skopje Fair – Business Hall in the presence of representatives of the German Embassy and the Embassy of Austria that are our long-term partners in providing support for vulnerable population groups.
