BRANCH ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT OF THE RED CROSS BRANCH BEROVO

On September 25-26, 2024, a team of two trained facilitators—Biljana Mincheva (from the Head Office of the Red Cross of RNM) and Orce Nikolov (Secretary of the Red Cross Branch Veles) visited the Red Cross Branch Berovo to conduct a Branch Organizational Capacity Assessment (BOCA), a tool developed using the methodology of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

The team from the Red Cross Branch Berovo, comprised of 11 persons consisting of staff, members of the governing structure, volunteers, youth, and members of the organization. Together, guided by the facilitators, they successfully completed all tasks and exercises outlined in the tool. The team from the Red Cross Branch Berovo assessed the current state of the organization, identified development priorities, created a plan of activities for the next 12 months, and received a certificate for successfully conducted Branch Organizational Capacities Assessment.
