Humanitarian assistance 06.02.2015

Macedonian Red Cross during the humanitarian activities for provision of assistance to the affected population in the flooded areas until 06.02.2015 has taken the following activities:

– Humanitarian relief is distributed containing 255 food parcels, 1.229 hygiene parcels, 1.000 blankets, 145 tons water, 80 matrasses and 156 l disinfection assets. With the relief operations covered were 400 families in the flooded regions in Strumica, Ceshinovo-Obleshevo, Shtip, Kochani, Bitola, Prilep and Kumanovo. During the weekend there will be additional 200 families covered.

-Through the mobile phone numbers from T-mobile, One, VIP 070/075/077 143 400 gathered are total of 2.950.000 denars, an at the Solidarity fund bank account there are gathered 150.000 denars.

Also there offers for assistance from the Red Cross societies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia and Montenegro.

Macedonian Red Cross expresses great gratitude for all the companies and citizens for involvement and support of the humanitarian action.
