Meeting of the President of the Red Cross of RNM, Prof. Dr. Romel Velev with the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia Nives Tiganj

The President of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, Prof. Dr. Romel Velev, met the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Nives Tiganj in the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia on December 17, 2021. During the meeting, a Certificate of Appreciation of the Croatian Red Cross was presented to the Red Cross of RNM for the donation and support in dealing with the challenges and subsequent consequences due to the earthquake that struck Sisak on 29.12.2020.

At the meeting in the Croatian Embassy, ​​the current cooperation for disaster preparedness and response was discussed as well as the current Red Cross projects such as “Neighbors help first”, which further promote solidarity and mutual support at regional level.

Ambassador Tiganj expressed gratitude for the humanitarian assistance provided by the Red Cross of RNM, and President Velev stressed that the Red Cross will continue to contribute where we are most needed
