New concept for voluntary blood donation

A seminar on promotion of a new concept for blood donation was held in the period of December 2-4, 2022 in the Red Cross Training Centre Solferino in Struga. The seminar was attended by representatives of the Red Cross branches, the City Red Cross of Skopje, the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Transfusion Medicine, and members of the Club of Blood Donors.

At the seminar, the following topics were covered: Retrospective and history of blood donation in PNM, Process of Transformation 28 and New concept for voluntary blood donation and Campaign for social media with key messages.

At the end, participants had the opportunity to share experiences and practical examples from different environments, and to bring important conclusions for future work as motivators for voluntary blood donation.
