Presentation of certificates of appreciation

On 18.12.2019, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia awarded certificates of appreciation to students who participated on workshop “Introduction to International Humanitarian Law”.

The purpose of the workshop was to familiarize with humanitarian principles and standards, rules of warfare, their practical application and implementation, consequences of non-compliance or violation of IHL rules, as well as the role of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in disseminating IHL rules.

Students were also introduced to the role, place and activities of the Red Cross, and were invited to take part in the activities in different programs.
