Regional first aid competitions of the Red Cross of RNM

Within the scope of its activities, the Red Cross of RNM is actively working on raising awareness on the importance of first aid, providing training and services to various target groups in order to improve the safety and overall health of people. We advocate for constant improvement of the quality of first aid programs, created according to the needs of different target groups such as preschool children, primary and secondary school students, candidates for motor vehicle drivers, persons responsible for safety and health at the workplace, persons with special needs, etc. The Red Cross of RNM makes a special contribution to the promotion of first aid in educational institutions, where we teach and upgrade the competences of young people on how to properly administer first aid.

In the period from May 11 to 12, 2024, the Red Cross of RNM will organize two regional first aid competitions for primary and secondary school students from the south-eastern and north-western region of North Macedonia.

On May 11, 2024, a Regional first aid competition for the southeastern region will be organized in Radovish, which will be hosted by the Red Cross Branch Radovish. The competition will be held at St. Spaso Radovishki Square with participation of 16 teams from 16 Red Cross branches from the southeastern region of the country. The ceremonial opening of the event is at 10:00 am.

On May 12, 2024, a Regional first aid competition for the northwestern region will be organized in Gazi Baba – Skopje, which will be hosted by the Red Cross Branch Gazi Baba. The ceremonial opening of the event will be on the plateau at the main entrance of East Gate Mall – Skopje at 10:00 am. 16 teams from 16 Red Cross branches from the northwestern region of the country will take part in the competition.
