Signed regional cooperation agreement with the Red Cross national societies from Albania and Kosovo

On 07/05/2023, the Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, PhD. Sait Saiti, visited the Albanian Red Cross, during which a meeting was held with the President of the Albanian Red Cross, Ylli Alushi, and the Secretary General of the Albanian Red Cross, Artur Katuci. The main objective of the meeting was an initiative to enhance the cooperation between national societies within a project that is being prepared in partnership with the Albanian Red Cross and The Volunteer Association SVAU – Volunteer Rescuers Humanitarian Aid ODV from Italy.

The Red Cross of RNM was invited to participate in this project, which entails organizing study visits and sharing of experiences within the programme for disaster preparedness and response, organizing joint trainings to strengthen capacities and joint activities to respond to humanitarian challenges. For this purpose, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Red Cross of RNM and The Volunteer Association SVAU – Volunteer Rescuers Humanitarian Aid ODV represented by the President Dr. Roberto Frittelli. Agreements were also signed between this organization and the Red Cross national societies from Albania and Kosovo.
