Training for new orienteers of the Red Cross of RNM

In the period from May 31 to June 1, 2021, a two-day online workshop was held for new orienteers of the Red Cross of RNM, which was attended by 21 representatives of the Red Cross branches of RNM and the City Red Cross of Skopje. The training was conducted by lecturers from the national society. The two-day workshop aimed to train new orienteers in the Red Cross organization who will be responsible to conduct orientation sessions in the Red Cross btanches for interested people from the local communities who want to join the Red Cross of RNM as volunteers or members of the organization.

With the training, the new orienteers were introduced to various aspects related to the work of the Red Cross such as the history of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the emblems of the Movement, the basics of International Humanitarian Law, the fundamental principles of the Movement, the history, structural set-up of the Red Cross of RNM, the Code of Ethics of the Red Cross of RNM and development of action plans for work in the Red Cross branches of RNM.
