“Women in Red”

On the occasion of March 8th, International Women’s Day, the Red Cross of RNM, under the motto “Women in Red,” organized a ceremonial event at the “DoubleTree by Hilton” hotel in Skopje.

This event was dedicated to women who, through their humanity, dedication, and hard work, make a significant contribution to the community. The event also aimed to highlight the role of women in humanitarian activities and to recognize their tireless work.

At the event, jubilee awards were presented to retired secretaries of the Red Cross at various levels within the national society. They represent significant figures in the history of our organization. Not only did they lead the organization during challenging times, but they also left an unforgettable mark on the development of humanitarian initiatives and programs to help vulnerable groups in society.

The following individuals received recognition: Emina Ademi, retired secretary of the Red Cross of RNM; Nevenka Hristova, retired secretary of the Red Cross branch Delchevo; Elena Naumcheska, retired secretary of the Red Cross Branch Gostivar; Nedime Shejdoska, retired secretary of the Red Cross branch Kichevo; Stojanka Koceva, retired secretary of the Red Cross Branch Kocani; Anka Stojanovska, retired secretary of the Red Cross Branch Kriva Palanka; Zora Gjurkovska, retired secretary of the Red Cross Branch Resen; Nada Kuzmanova, retired secretary of the Red Cross Branch Kratovo; and Todorka Janevska, retired secretary of the Red Cross Branch Karposh.
