Youth Week of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia

Another successful Youth Week was organized under the motto “Initiate Actions, Inspire Change” in the period of October 1 – 7, 2024. The week featured activities aimed at strengthening and networking volunteers within youth clubs.

On October 5, the youth clubs of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia organized promotional events in 25 cities across the country. All events took place on the same day and at the same time, with a synchronized program and digital networking.

The youth of the Red Cross shared powerful messages through their personal volunteer stories, emphasizing the importance of taking action and promoting humanitarian values in response to modern humanitarian challenges.

The central promotional event took place in Skopje at the Inox center, organized by the Red Cross of North Macedonia, the City Red Cross of Skopje, and five local Red Cross branches operating in the Skopje area. At the event, the present were addressed by the Secretary General of the Red Cross of North Macedonia, PhD. Sait Saiti, and the President of Youth of the Red Cross of RNM, Aleksandra Sandeva. Attendees had the opportunity to hear personal volunteer stories from six volunteers moderated through a discussion, as well as live contributions from volunteers participating from ten cities during their local promotional events.
