Celebrating World First Aid Day (September 14, 2024)

World First Aid Day is celebrated worldwide every year on the second Saturday of September. This day was introduced by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in 2000 and has been celebrated every year since then.

This year, the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia will mark the World First Aid Day on September 14, 2024 under the motto: First aid and sports activities, be prepared and give first aid!!!

On the occasion of marking the World First Aid Day, the local organizations of the Red Cross and the City Red Cross of Skopje will undertake activities to raise public awareness of the importance of providing first aid correctly and promptly.
