Participation in the Annual Mental Health Forum
From October 14 to 17, 2024, two psychologists from the Center for Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support of the Red Cross of North Macedonia, along with over 40 national societies and 78 participants from Europe and Central Asia, attended the forum marking the 20th anniversary of the European Network for Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support in Petrčane, Croatia.
The host of this event was the Red Cross of Croatia, where the focus was on the urgent needs for mental health and psycho-social support, particularly for the most vulnerable groups, such as migrants.
Throughout the week, there were various discussions, presentations, and interactive workshops addressing the mental health and psycho-social needs of the most vulnerable, emphasizing the importance of a continuous care system for Red Cross staff and volunteers.
The forum highlighted the need to promote a culture of care for those who care for others. The Red Cross of North Macedonia distributed materials on mental health and well-being during this forum.
