Psychological First Aid training through mental health and psycho-social support helplines
In the period from February 27 to 28, 2024, a participant from the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia was part of the interactive training in Belgrade, on the topic of psychological first aid through mental health and psycho-social support helplines
The training was organized as part of the project “Strengthening the resilience of the older people and people with disabilities during COVID-19 and future disasters” supported by the European Union, the Austrian Development Agency and the Austrian Red Cross.
Participants from the Red Cross of Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Serbia were part of the training.
The training was based on the IFRC PS Supportive Voices manual. Guide to the establishment and operation of mental health and psychosocial support helplines and other related materials according to the training curriculum.
