TWO-DAY ASSESSMENT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITIES IN THE RED CROSS BRANCH GOSTIVAR

On the 5th and 6th of March 2024, the team of three trained facilitators visited the Red Cross Branch Gostivar, and conducted the Organizational Capacity Assessment. The team from RCB Gostivar was comprised of 12 staff, members of the governing structure, volunteers and young people from the organization. Together, guided by the facilitators, they successfully completed all the tasks and tools of the BOCA methodology developed by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The team from the red Cross Branch Gostivar positioned the current state of the organization, identified priorities for development, created a plan with activities for the period of the next 12 months and acquired a certificate for a successfully conducted Assessment of their organizational capacities. This is the tenth conducted BOCA Assessment, and in the coming months the three teams of three facilitators each will continue with the assessments in other Red Cross branches as well.
