World Changers Balkan Summit

On October 12-13, 2024, the World Changers Balkan Summit took place at the Macedonian Philharmonic, organized by the Institute for Advanced Studies and Cooperation from Vatican.

 

With support from the Government of North Macedonia, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, the Red Cross of North Macedonia, and the London Intercultural Center, the summit served as a gathering of visionaries, innovators, leaders, and experts from the Balkan region and around the world. Discussions focused on ethics and innovations in artificial intelligence, regenerative medicine, sustainable agriculture, and ethical technologies, with the aim of fostering positive change and building a better future for all.

 

The Secretary General of the Red Cross of North Macedonia, PhD. Sait Saiti, participated in a panel discussion dedicated to the Red Cross and robotics in first aid, where he spoke about innovations within the organization. A model of a search and rescue robot for disaster situations was also showcased.

 

At the event, the Red Cross of North Macedonia presented “Golden Emblem” awards in appreciation for the promotion and support of its activities to: Alessandro Pumpo, Artur Koziol, Christina Rham, Ignazio Dogliani, Caitlin Sarian, Ardita Sinani, Stephanie De Sarachaga, Hadi Brenjekjy, and Dr. Eng. Abdullah Bin Ali Al-Saihati.
