Day of the Protection and Rescue Directorate

On the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the establishment of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, a constitutive session of the National Headquarters for Protection and Rescue was held on May 14^th, and as a member of the Headquarters with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, was appointed the Secretary General of the Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Sait Saiti.

After the completion of the constitutive session of the National Headquarters for Protection and Rescue in the “Goce Delcev” barracks in the settlement Aerodrom, a visit to the forces for rapid intervention in case of disasters was paid. The Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia participated with the water and sanitation team and the water purification station, as well as with a medical vehicle and a team of paramedics.

The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, Mr. Adnan Dzaferoski and the Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Oliver Spasovski.
