Marking of International First aid day – 10th September 2016

10th September (Saturday) we mark the International First aid Day  for promotion of knowledge and skills for administering first aid around the world, contribution in the changes for spreading and improving the first aid trainings as humanitarian act and key component of a more modern and broader access. It is a chance to reach the public and to try and change the way of consideration of first aid.

This year the topic is First aid for and from the children. International federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent societies looks upon children as providers of first aid and recognizes that the consist a large part of the population thtat has the priority in case of emergencies.

Children are important part of the community that have the ability to be involved in saving lives of their peers or family members.

The International First aid Day 2016 will focus on the children that have benefit from first aid and can provide first aid to their peers, families and communities where they grow. On this day the knowledge will be shared to the broad public and the importance will be highlighted to be prepared and equipped to save the children’s life in a case of emergency.
