Meeting with the managers of the Crisis Management Center and the Directorate for Protection and Rescue for preparations of the RCRNM “Transformation 28” process

On 20.04.2022 in the premises of the RCRNM Center for Disaster Preparedness and Response the Secretary General of the Red Cross of RNM, PhD. Sait Saiti and representatives of the RCRNM HQ, held a meeting with the Manager of the Crisis Management Center (CMC) Stojance Angelov and other representatives CMC responsible for coordination of the programs of the Crisis Management Center. The meeting was also attended by the Manager of the Protection and Rescue Directorate (PRD), PhD. Bekim Maksuti and representatives of PRD responsible for coordination of the programs at PRD.

The meeting was held in order to present the RCRNM Transformation 28 process and to define the areas for cooperation that should correspond to the local needs and opportunities, having in mind the auxiliary role of the Red Cross of RNM in the country and positive practices and cooperation with state institutions.

The managers of the CMC and the PRD presented their views on the role of the Red Cross of RNM in the state crisis management system and their strategic plans for the coming years with an emphasis on the fields where they see possible cooperation with the Red Cross. After the preparation of the draft document “Transformation 28” it will be shared with the institutions and there will be re-consultation on specific areas, in order to develop concrete, relevant, coordinated and quality approaches for transformation.
