Ongoing training for Caregivers for assistance and care of the elderly and people with disabilities – supported by Business&Strategies in Europe – B&S Europe
Within the new cycle of trainings for the accredited program “Caregiver for assistance and care of the elderly and people with disabilities”, conducted by the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Red Cross of the City of Skopje, which started on 12.01.2021 and included 15 candidates, as part of the project ,,Support facility to mitigate Covid-19 economic and psychological consequences for vulnerable categories of citizens’’, supported by Business and Strategies in Europe – B&S Europe, so far the theoretical and practical parts of Module 1 have been realized, with a social worker and special educator. Out of the 15 candidates, 13 participants have successfully completed the test for Module 1, and the remaining 2 will have the opportunity to retake the test. The majority of the lectures take place live, but whenever there is a possibility, online sessions are organized through the Zoom platform. The candidates are as well, showing a major interest in the program, and that’s seen by measuring their regularity and active participation in the lectures.
The practical part of Module 2 is currently underway.
