Participation in the 5th Summit of World Changers
The World Changers Ethics and Innovation Summit was held at the Pontifical University in the Vatican on November 26, 2024, with participation of more than 70 leaders from various organizations, companies, and institutions worldwide. PhD. Sait Saiti, the Secretary-General of the Red Cross of North Macedonia, took part in a panel discussion on the topic “Ethics, Faith, and Social Vision: Drivers of Evolution and Development,” where he highlighted the specific values promoted by the Red Cross in its everyday work and its constant adherence to ethical standards within society. The summit represented an exceptional opportunity to connect humanitarian work with current trends in technology development and the social vision embraced by organizations of various nature. During the event, the Red Cross of RNM awarded the Golden Emblem of the Red Cross, to Michael Shanly, founder and president of Shanly Group, an organization whose donations have enabled the support and construction of housing for thousands of vulnerable individuals. Discussions were held with the event organizer, the “Institute for Advanced Studies and Cooperation,” regarding a possibility the Red Cross of RNM to host the next Summit in 2025 within the program for marking the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the national society.
