Participation of representatives of the Red Cross of RNM on the meeting for strengthening preparedness to respond to crisis and emergency situations of the countries of Southeast Europe

In the period from February 20-21, 2024, a meeting was held in Vienna, Austria to strengthen preparedness to respond to crisis and emergency situations of South-Eastern European countries. The meeting was organized by the Austrian Red Cross. Representatives from North Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Serbia participated in the workshop.

The main objective of the meeting was to identify the existing capacities as well as the future needs of the countries in Southeast Europe to strengthen the preparedness and capacities of all institutions within the crisis management system. The workshop also discussed building new and further developing existing competencies, skills, knowledge and expertise for civil protection and crisis management at individual, organizational and institutional levels.
