Participation of a representative of the Macedonian Red Cross at the meeting of the First Aid Network in Montenegro
From 21st to 23rd September, the Red Cross of Montenegro at the Solidarity House in Sutomore hosted a large international gathering dedicated to the first aid FAEEN 2017 (First Aid Education European Network).
About 70 participants from over 30 countries from Europe took part in the gathering, including a representative of the Macedonian Red Cross as well as representatives of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the International Committee and a representative of the Ministry of Health from Norway.
Meetings of the network dealing with education in the area of first aid are held annually. During these three days, the representatives of the network had the opportunity to discuss current issues related to the first aid – new achievements in this area, harmonization of the guidelines regarding education, new innovations, as well as to get acquainted with new projects, good practices and experiences presented by representatives of different countries.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Laerdal, Zoll and Cardiac Science companies who had the opportunity to present part of their new products for the practical practical training for first aid such as: automatic external defibrillators, phantom dolls, etc.
