Start of a new cycle of trainings for caregivers to help and care for the elderly and people with disabilities
The Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Red Cross of City of Skopje within the accredited program ‘’Caregivers for assistance and care of the elderly and people with disabilities” on 12.01.2021 started a new cycle of trainings for 15 candidates. The realization of the trainings was preceded by an info session for observance of all protocols for control and prevention of the spread of the Covid19 pandemic.
The trainings are conducted by four educators from different profiles: special educator, social worker, doctor and nurse. Within this training, the candidates will gain new knowledge and techniques in the field of home care, psychosocial support, as well as theoretical and practical knowledge for the respective target groups for which the home helpers are trained.
The training is realized within the project for ,,Support facility to mitigate Covid-19 economic and psychological consequences for vulnerable categories of citizens’’, supported by Business and Strategies in Europe – B&S Europe. Upon completion of the training, the candidates will obtain a state certificate for caregivers for assistance and care of the elderly and people with disabilities.
