The new Day Care Center for the older people with active aging has been opened

On August 28, 2023, the new Day Care Center for the older people with active aging was opened in the municipality of Kriva Palanka. The center is part of the social reform implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, and the provider of this social service is the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia – Red Cross Branch Kriva Palanka.

The ceremonial opening was attended by the Secretary General of the Red Cross of RNM Sait Saiti, the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska, the Mayor of Kriva Palanka Municipality Sashko Mitovski and other guests.

The Day Care Center for older people with active aging is targeted for pensioners who have reached the age of 65, and within this service they get access to specific activities.
